We are looking to hire an Examiner to join the team based in Mumbai, India.


Job Requirements

  • Contributes to development of claims policies and procedures. Involves legal resources as necessary.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and settlement of recoveries and recovery costs and for advising/directing customers in respect of loss minimisation activities.
  • Applies principles and procedures within restricted examination criteria to determine liability for creditinsured losses and bonds
  • Responsible for compliance with internal procedures/systems
  • Responsible for accurate assessment of indemnity
  • Communicates with customers/brokers/buyers/agents/internal colleagues

Knowledge, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree plus professional insurance qualifications and 23 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrates competence in own area; may still be acquiring higher level skill
  • Typically works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge
  • Operates at core professional qualification
  • May have some supervisory responsibility
  • Proficient in English
