- Strive for greater functionality in data systems
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements like automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery, enhancing infrastructure scalability, etc
- Build and maintain efficient data pipeline architecture in cloud environments
- Define data architecture and pipelines for insights and KPIs
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Assist with organizational change needs as part of market data reporting tools and processes
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analytics Leads
- Work closely with business partners across different regions
- Aim for enhanced functionality in data systems
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery, enhancing infrastructure scalability, etc
- Build and maintain efficient data pipeline architecture in cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree, Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field desired
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Information Technology or Digital Marketing
- Basic knowledge of data visualization techniques & tools - Experience with dashboarding tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, DOMO, Sigma, etc., and programming languages like Python, Java, R desired
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and familiarity with various databases
- Experience conducting root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
- Comfort working with extensive internal and external data, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
- Experience supporting multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with third-party data like syndicated market data, Point of Sales, etc.
- Deep understanding of the consumer packaged goods industry
- Familiarity with Colgate's processes and analytics tools (for internal candidates)
- Willingness to experiment with new tools and techniques
- Strong facilitation and project management skills
- Ability to maintain composure and handle challenging situations thoughtfully
- Experience with Data Flow, Data Pipeline, and workflow management tools in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, etc.)
