    Toast Overview:
    Toast is revolutionizing the restaurant industry, leading the way in digital hospitality for thousands of restaurants and expanding quickly. To support our rapid growth, we are establishing an Innovation Center in Bangalore and seeking a QA Manager to join the founding leadership team.
    As an early team member, you will collaborate with local and remote Toast leaders to build a skilled team of QA Engineers (manual and automated) dedicated to testing new features, running regression suites, and creating test suites for the Toast Business Systems teams. You will work closely with peers across Toast, aligning your team's efforts with Toast's overarching mission.
    You will cultivate high-performance teams and enhance their capabilities over time. You enjoy devising innovative methods to help your teams operate more effectively and efficiently. Your dedication to customer experience will drive collaboration with product, development, and design colleagues to validate and deliver on customer needs. In a typical day, you may review solution designs, facilitate discussions across teams, assess test plans and strategies, and conduct one-on-one sessions.
    As Quality Assurance Manager you will:
    - Lead the daily quality assurance activities of a team of QA engineers responsible for assessing, validating, and testing new and existing features within the Business Systems teams
    - Set benchmarks and best practices for the Quality Assurance team in partnership with QA leaders company-wide
    - Develop and execute test automation initiatives and protocols
    - Establish defect reduction and prioritization initiatives
    - Develop and oversee quality assurance metrics to enhance team performance
    - Support project management and interdependencies, ensuring compliance with milestones and release quality standards
    - Contribute to the development of test plans, cases, scenarios, and data for testing phases of the SDLC, and participate in meeting testing objectives
    Desired Candidate Profile:
    - 3+ years of experience in recruiting and nurturing empowered QA teams
    - 8-10 years in a software development or information systems environment
    - Proven track record as a quality assurance manager in a relevant role
    - Proficiency in manual and automated QA strategies and methodologies
    - Deep empathy for customers and team members
    - Proficiency with Jira, TestRail, and Confluence is a Plus
    - Proactive approach, balancing between task completion and perfection
    - Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle (experience with Agile methodology)
    - Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and autonomous decision-making skills
    - Ability to coordinate and cooperate with various cross-functional teams
    - Superior written and verbal communication skills
    Bonus Ingredients:

    - Exposure to NetSuite
    - Hands-on experience with Workato
    - Project management background
    - Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Selenium
