Job Title:
OT Staff and Technician - Maternity and Gynecology Hospital
As an OT Staff and Technician in our Maternity and Gynecology Hospital, you will be an essential part of our surgical team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our operating theater.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist our medical professionals during surgical procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room before surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are readily available and properly sterilized.
- Assist surgeons, gynecologists, and other medical professionals during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs and providing instruments and supplies as required.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and communicate any significant changes to the surgical team promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Assist in positioning and transferring patients safely on the operating table.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and anesthesiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the proper documentation of surgical procedures, patient records, and any other relevant information.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- Relevant educational background and certification as an Operation Theatre Technician or a similar field.
- Prior experience working in an Operation Theatre setting or within a maternity and gynecology hospital is preferred.
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment commonly used in gynecological and maternity procedures.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused in highpressure situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the surgical team.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients.
Job Types:

Contract length: 11 Months Or Yearly
Salary:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications
