Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage and assemble it into a compelling and visually appealing finished product.

Ensure that video content maintains a consistent style and meets the organization's branding guidelines.

Collaborate with the creative team, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators, to understand project objectives and deliver the desired message effectively.

Trim footage segments and put together sequences that create a smooth flow of the video.

Enhance video quality through color correction, audio editing, and adding visual effects or animations as needed.

Incorporate transitions, titles, and graphics to enhance the overall visual experience.

Review and select the best shots or angles for each scene, ensuring the final product meets the creative vision.

Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques and industry trends to improve video quality and efficiency.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining organized file management.

Collaborate with the video production team to ensure smooth workflows and efficient delivery of final videos.

Stay updated with the latest video editing software and equipment advancements, recommending upgrades or additional tools when necessary.

Occasionally participate in filming and on-location shoots to capture additional footage or provide creative input.

Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.

Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and exporting best practices for different platforms.

Solid grasp of storytelling principles and the ability to craft engaging narratives through editing.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Creativity and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.

A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing projects is highly desirable.
