Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of South Indian vegetarian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including food preparation stations, cooking equipment, and utensils.
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
Support the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in daily operations, including ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Chef.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for enhancing our South Indian vegetarian offerings.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Assist with receiving and inspecting deliveries of fresh produce, spices, and other ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of South Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment.
Hotel Management in Degree, Diploma, ITI or One year craft course.
If any one required Passport or Chennai Local ID proof.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
