Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of South Indian vegetarian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including food preparation stations, cooking equipment, and utensils.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Support the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in daily operations, including ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Chef.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for enhancing our South Indian vegetarian offerings.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Assist with receiving and inspecting deliveries of fresh produce, spices, and other ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of South Indian vegetarian cuisine

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working as Chef or similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment.
  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
