Profile:

  • Freight Broker/Logistics Sales Coordinator

Location - Mohali (On-site) & Noida (On -Site)

Job Timings - 5:30 p.m. (IST) to 2:30 a.m. (IST) - Night Shift
Monday to Friday (5 days working)

Salary Range - Depends on Interview


Prerequisite:


  • Fluent Communication skills in English_
A freight broker serves as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods.

Freight brokers do marketing to attract new customers, pair customers with freight carriers, book orders, and line carriers up for loading.


Responsibilities:


  • Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.
  • Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
  • Providing customers with shipping quotes.
  • Booking orders with carriers.
  • Assisting to prepare carriers for loads.
  • Tracking status of loads.
  • Collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and dropoffs.
  • Keeping accurate records of relevant activities.
  • Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting any concern related to international freight transportation
  • Work with existing transportation suppliers on optimal delivery rate and routing
  • Direct and followup with incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure prompt delivery to customers
  • Responsible for utilizing logistics IT systems or software to optimize procedures
  • Responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduate


  • Work Experience

  • Minimum 6 months as Freight Broker.

Skills Required:


  • Team Player
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary:
₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
