Job Responsibilities -

Create and develop design documents
Understanding of engineering drawings, Geometry creation and data management with 2D & 3D CAD
Create simple mechanical designs & 3D Models using Solid Works
Prepare Bill of Materials as per the Drawings
Understanding of design lifecycle, Creation of 3D model, subassemblies.
Manufacturing edge of parts (MEOP) and engineering edge of parts (EEOP), Loads and Freebody diagrams, Advanced solid mechanics, Analysis of joints, Design for Manufacturing.
Analysis and Design of simple to complex Steel Structures (PEB) by using Ansys and STAAD Pro V8i programs.
Preparation of Design basis report and design calculation reports.
Examining, checking, modifications to existing drawings and enhancements in designs based on feedback.
Proactively search for and capture cost reduction/avoidance opportunities.
Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort. Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
