Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals, ensuring our team is equipped with technology approved by the organisation.
  • Deployment and management of Laptop operating systems, such as Windows and macOS, allowing for seamless operation across our organization.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems or replacements as necessary, ensuring the longevity and reliability of our IT assets.
  • Collaboration with our security teams to ensure that Laptop systems are in compliance with our company policies and security standards.
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation for Laptop configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Assistance in evaluating new technologies and recommending hardware and software upgrades to keep our IT infrastructure modern and effective.
  • Participation in IT projects and initiatives as required, offering their expertise to ensure the success of our endeavours.
  • Management of assets and inventory, ensuring that our IT resources are efficiently utilized and accounted for.
  • Contribution to ISO documentation from the IT department.
Procurement of laptops and Other IT assets from Vendor. Basic use and management of mobile device management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 12 years of professional IT Administrator experience.
  • Knowledge of system security techniques and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Resourcefulness and problemsolving aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
