PAYROLL OFFICER

Location:

Responsible for:

This role is responsible for the personnel data management into payroll system and correct delivery of the payroll with support of finance Team.


Key Objectives:
Administration of Payroll system

  • Processing and Audit of tips and gratuities
  • Ad hoc payroll analysis and projects
  • Uploading of BACS, faster payments and chaps payments to employees
  • Respond to employee queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records

Detailed Responsibilities Administration of payroll system

  • Complete detailed and accurate input of employee data.
  • Run change report from the HIVE (Time and attendance system) and liaise closely with the People team for any queries.
  • Ensure that HODs have closed the timecards in a timely manner to avoid any delay in payroll processing.
  • Update employee details on payroll system (Visual).
  • Maintain the payroll system and track updates.

Audit and allocation of tips and gratuities

  • Calculation of Tips & Service Charge.
  • Upload the data for Tips & Service Charge in the HIVE (Time & attendance system).
  • Upload the Tips & Service Charge data in payroll system for pay slip generation.

Payroll Processing (hourly and monthly)

  • Upload pay slips in the HIVE.
  • Respond to employee queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.

Accounting of payroll

Liaise with HODs on regular basis to ensure correct data/hours have been entered in to HIVE and carry out audit checks.


General Duties

  • Respond to requests for information and assist in the production of statement of earnings, copy payslips and other information as required.
  • Assisting in the daytoday activities of the payroll operations as required.
  • Uploading of BACS, faster payments, and Chaps payments to employees.
  • Proactively improve the quality of payroll through identification and resolution of issues and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Ensure necessary approved paperwork is received for loans.

Salary:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
