Global Banking and markets (GBM) provides tailored financial services to the large corporate and institutional clients across the globe covering a broad spectrum of Transaction Banking, M&A, Derivatives, Debt & Equity Financing, Research, etc
Strategic Transaction Group (STG) Identifies, structures and executes a range of transactions for corporate, financial institutions and governments. Transactions include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, split-offs, issuance of equity or debt capital.
The Opportunity:
- The RAF (Project Finance) team is involved in funding (financing) of longterm infrastructure, industrial projects, and public services using a nonrecourse or limited recourse financial structure. This role is to assist the Structured Finance, Middle Office and Business Management Team.
- Supporting Project Finance Advisory and Financing team involves:
- Preparing pitch books, making advisory proposals, marketing material and responding to specific client enquiries.
- Deal structuring this involves a complete analysis of the project including all expenditures, cash flows, risk factors, mitigation, collateral, due diligence etc.
- Analyzing Loan documents and other regulatory paperwork.
- Involves liaising with the client for the information, the credit risk department for completing the approval process, and the legal department for finalizing all contractual documents
- Involvement in adhoc projects as and when these arise.
- The incumbent will be required to work extensively in an integrated team environment with global Real Assets and Structured Finance professionals on credit reviews of Infrastructure and Real Estate loan portfolios.
What you'll do:
- Analyses, building and using financial models; preparing presentation materials and conducting industry and product research.
- Overtime creates enough understanding of the sector to proactively identify credit risk.
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Exceptionally qualified MBA's (with good CGPA score), CA's with Big four (E&Y, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG) experience and other professional qualifications like CFA and FRM.
- What additional skills will be good to have? (List out good to have skills and certifications)
- Minimum one year experience in Credit Analysis, Financial Modelling, Documentation Reviews, Risk Reporting etc.
- Good knowledge of financial modeling
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Highly proficient at Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Strong accounts, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Good at multitasking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail
