Technical Project Manager - R&D MR CoilsJob Description

Job TitleTechnical Project Manager - R&D MR CoilsYour role:Take ownership of hardware deliverables for the full project life cycle - successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one to two major or several minor/medium projects simultaneously.

Establish overall governance for coils projects, track and ensure timely mitigation of challenges and risksEstablish and drive the achievement of hardware deliverables, internally and externally, in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the cross functional teamDemonstrate intuition for business to support how solutions will address project goalsInfuse product design expertise into our next generation coils development with a heavy emphasis on efficacy and product safety.

Collaborate with, influence and hold accountable cross-functional resource/teams to ensure projects/programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standardsWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Develop and effectively communicate project risks, progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, leadership steering team, and managementParticipate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement on standard methodologies and tools for hardware technical project managementDrive operational excellence for predictable project execution.

Facilitate brainstorming sessions to develop scalable services and solutions.
Apply lean and Agile development principles.

You're the right fit if:

You've acquired at least 10 years of experience in the R&D domain of highly regulated business(es)You have the ability to manage team of engineers and manage hardware product development.

You have a Masters in a relevant engineering background (e.g Mechanical, Electrical, Operations) with a focus on Product DevelopmentYou have experience in new product development with a demonstrable record of bringing product to marketProject management trained/qualified (e.g PMP certification or equivalent) and have demonstrated experience and success in leading large, complex technology/product transfer projects/programsYou've demonstrated experience and success in leading medium and large, sophisticated projects/programsYou have experienced working knowledge of project and portfolio management governance, process and tools and global business knowledge and influence – demonstrated understanding of different cultures and approaches and demonstrated ability to lead, follow, work and influence at all levels and in all functions of the organization.

You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels; can drive tough decisions and can quickly build effective teams in a global matrixed organizationYou are a driving force on the team's deliverables on quality and timely deliveryMedical Device experience is preferred (experience in MRI products and / or MR Coils is a plus).

Exposure to International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE is a plus.

Must be agile, flexible and able to adopt different business critical situation and able to work in challenging environmentTravel is 10-15%You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .You are a part ofA progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business, you would be part of MR R&D Team with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.
