Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Events team to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for event materials, including but not limited to brochures, banners, signage, invitations, and digital assets.
  • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the event's message.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to create promotional materials that drive attendance and engagement.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, incorporating innovative ideas into designs.
  • Edit and proofread event-related materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers and photographers, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all designs.
  • Manage and organize design files and assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-documented.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in an Events department, with a portfolio showcasing event-related designs.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Experience with video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
