Job Summary
Manage the Logistics Department carrier compliance program.

Ensure all carriers meet company compliance standards including Carrier Contracts, Carrier Packets, Safety Ratings, insurance certificates, Operating authority, Hazardous Material authority, W-9's, contact information, payables information and all DOT areas of compliance.

Maintain accurate records and implement alert tracking system to ensure all Logistics carriers are compliant.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks for the company
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Use independent judgement while reviewing contracts to determine approval.
  • Manage Carrier Compliance Plan
  • Maintain accuracy in the TMS system with Carrier information
  • Maintain and update carrier compliance requirements and ensure all carriers are compliant.
  • Manage NO LOAD list
  • Create Corrective Action Plans for noncompliant carriers
  • Work with the upper management to discuss any issues or concerns regarding compliance.

Education And/or Experience Required
College degree preferred
