Job Title:
Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the retail department store. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for customers and employees.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the department store, including restrooms, fitting rooms, aisles, and common areas, according to established standards and schedules.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors regularly to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces such as shelves, counters, and display fixtures to remove dirt, debris, and fingerprints.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of store displays and promotional materials.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and answering questions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.

Qualifications:


  • 10 th pass or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals and dust.

Job Types:

Salary:
Up to ₹13,000.00 per month
