As the Alteryx professional in our Securities Services Unit Costing Team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

You will work closely with the Unit Costing Product leads to develop a comprehensive understanding of the cost components and business dynamics through collaboration with various stakeholders.

The key deliverables across unit costing are mobilized through the continuous automation and modelling efforts, making this role a significant contributor to our long term strategy for efficient and consistent service delivery to Product/Pricing/Finance &Business Management /Operations /Technology stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with the Unit Costing team on the transformation agenda that has been agreed with the business Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Coordinate within the Unit costing Modelling and Reporting team to leverage tools like Alteryx / SQL to unlock efficiencies in processes and costing study refreshes
You will leverage your technical skills whilst developing an understanding of the financial hierarchy, business / product structure, cost objects and the Activity Based Costing (ABC) principles
Consolidate, perform quality control checks and streamline data sourced from various systems such as relational databases, spreadsheets, and text files
Create models transforming accounting data (Headcount, Expenses, Volumes) into meaningful information for management reporting, pricing and product management teams

Required Qualification. Capabilities and Skill

Must have knowledge of Excel formulae/VBA, basic knowledge of SQL and data transformation concepts.
Must have experience working on ETL Tools such as Alteryx / Qlikview /Tableau/ Qliksense
Demonstrates strong communication skills as well as organizational and project management skills (including documentation of new processes developed)
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and a selfstarter who is able to research issues/problems and develop solutions with the team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Basic Python, SAP, Cognos, skills a plus
4+ years of relevant financial services experience, with finance and/or operations experience an advantage
