Level 1 | 2- 4 YEARS

Perform 1st level hardware diagnostics and installation of layered products where needed.
Minimum 2 years of experience in remote infrastructure management
Knowledge on virtualization products and functionalities
Should possess knowledge on security patching procedures
Responsible for SLA compliance
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders
Basic knowledge on ITIL process
Install and set up Linux systems and servers, often for organizationwide deployment.
Perform routine system maintenance and resolve serverside issues as they arise.
Maintain security and OS patch management for linux based systems
Install and maintain agents on servers for centralized monitoring and management
Experience with Ansible or similar tools is desired
Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Linux based Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments,
Utilize Linux scripting (Bourne, PERL, BASH, PowerShell, etc.) to optimize and automate system administrator tasks.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Perform hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with MPs to minimize disruptions on L1 Level.
Knowledge on RHEL 5.6.7, Centos 5.6.7 and Ubuntu
Flexible to work on 24/7 rotational shifts

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Graduation:
Full time Degree: B.E / Btech / MCA or equivalent degree.
