    Are you prepared to join a dynamic UEFI firmware development team in Bangalore, India, and contribute to the creation of top-tier servers globally? Lenovo ISG is in search of UEFI engineers for the upcoming generation of server products. As a part of this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, overseeing all UEFI/BIOS-related activities throughout the server product development phases including planning, execution, and validation.

    Responsibilities (among others):

    • Responsible for x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS development, focusing on feature enhancements and bug resolution.
    • Collaborating with internal teams to integrate new product features into future releases.
    • Engaging with internal teams and end-users to comprehend customer needs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, covering processors and chipsets.
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in BIOS/UEFI development.
    • Prior experience with Server BIOS development is advantageous.
    • Thorough understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Proficient in C coding with hands-on experience.
    • Solid grasp of industry standards like BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI, etc.
    • Experience using Intel ITP or other hardware tools for debugging complex firmware issues.
    • Well-organized, with effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
