Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX)
Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
Experience using design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Figjam)
Experience working collaboratively with other designers (e.g., UX researchers, UX writers, product managers, and engineers)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate positions and advocate designs

In this role as a UX Interaction Designer, you'll take on tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easytouse designs. You will collaborate with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process.

Responsibilities:

Understand Google Cloud Platform products, technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition.
Translate technical and business requirements into usable and powerful products, create designs (e.g., user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes), and communicate design intent to both internal and external teams.
Work in all stages of the product lifecycle from an idea to concept, build, and postlaunch.
Work with Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers in a changing environment.
Communicate design ideas, rationalize and justify decisions, and advocate for users' needs.
