Requirements:

Almabase is looking to hire a Customer Marketer. This is a role that sits in between the Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams.

The focus is to enable our teams to have meaningful interactions with the customer throughout their journey while driving adoption across products.

By creating meaningful content, you will contribute to the above.


As part of this role, you have the opportunity to work closely with the CS and Product leadership teams and gain exposure to how these different functions interact.

You will become familiar with the inner workings of a profitable B2B tech startup and learn what it takes to scale up.

You will have the freedom to experiment with different channels and tools. You will have a high impact on shaping the customer experience across channels.


Responsibilities:


  • In this role, your primary responsibility will be creating quality content both written and visual. You will need a solid grasp of our customer personas, and their pain points, along with a deep understanding of the Almabase product.
  • You will work closely with the Customer Success team to understand the customer journey from purchase to advocacy to identify opportunities where we can reduce friction/create momentum.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and clearly articulate the value they add to customers with the right positioning and messaging.
  • Develop effective training materials, making it easy for internal teams to understand product offerings, and positioning, and support the launch of new features.

Requirements:


  • You understand that copywriting is design and love to write. The words matter as much as the pixels. Great visuals with weak words are poor designs. You should care about how things are phrased as much as you care about how they look.
  • Design is your forte, and you have experience taking an idea through multiple stages of the design process.
  • The ability to understand tech and business software and translate tech content into marketing material.
  • You are comfortable learning and using tools like Google Suite, Asana, Slack, Notion, etc.
  • If you have a passion for equal access to education & opportunity. You will feel right at home.
  • An understanding of Customer Success or a background in it would be a huge plus

What a typical month will look like?

  • As part of your role, you will work closely with the Customer Experience team to create supporting decks, copy, graphics, and visuals to enhance the ideal customer journey.
  • You will be actively involved in driving strategies to educate customers, keep them engaged and help drive product adoption.
  • You will help in building out enablement material for our Customer Success team to provide value to customers at scale.
  • You will develop content to help internal teams understand product offerings and support the launch of new features.

How will we set you up for success in this role?

  • We will provide you with detailed training to give you a headstart into the world of alumni relations and educational fundraising. We'll also talk about the competitive landscape, and provide you access to hundreds of recorded conversations, and existing marketing material.
  • We will provide you an indepth training into our product along with sandbox access to let you play around. The focus is for you to figure out how each piece helps solve a piece of the puzzle for customers.
  • You will have plenty of opportunities to be in touch with your audience by listening into calls with prospects and current customers.
  • You will have a quarterly review with your manager to discuss career goals and overall success, along with regular mentoring.
