About us:
Within the agile release train 'FC Data, Analytics & Functions', the product team 'CarLA Data' is responsible for the development and provision of data products for numerous areas and a holistic data architecture for the company. The team thus generates high business value for the business partners.
Your responsibility as a product architect:
In our cross-functional product team, the Product Architect CarLA Data is responsible for the technically very sophisticated architecture of the data products on our CarLA BI & Analytics Platform and for controlling their implementation. Taking the product owner's product vision into account, you develop an architectural vision, influence the development of the product vision yourself through innovation impulses and actively contribute to the successful implementation with your technical expertise and planning skills. With the developed architectural vision, the Product Architect is also responsible for the strategic orientation and long-term further development of the technically very complex solution. The Product Architect takes on a leading role in the product team alongside the Product Owner and the Scrum Master.
Your tasks:
Overall responsibility for the technical architecture of the data products, taking into account the business and technical requirements, the control of the implementation and the consistent integration both in the holistic data architecture and in the overall landscape
Development of an architectural vision and development of the holistic technical architecture for the data products as well as coordination of the technical architecture with the product vision and the needs and expectations of the various business partners and stakeholders for the digital solution
Participation in the definition of the overall technical architecture for a holistic future FC landscape in cooperation with other product and system architects
Ensuring the integration of the product architecture into the overall architecture and design of a suitable interface and integration architecture
Derivation of features, development and refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria in cooperation with the product owner. Evaluation of the team's planned user stories in terms of scope, complexity and technical feasibility as a basis for the team's subsequent product increment planning
Definition of architecture guidelines, enabler features and acceptance criteria for the implementation of the architectural runway, as well as control of the implementation
Development and exchange of best practices with other Product Architects and active promotion of the crossfunctional reuse of components in the overall landscape
Useroriented and cooperative conception and development process when designing the implementations (e.g. based on BizDevOps)
Development and implementation of the product life cycle, the deployment strategy as well as planning and controlling regular product releases and software versions used in close coordination with the business partners, the product owner and other architects
Definition and planning of the technologically sophisticated infrastructure for efficient (further) development and stable operation of the digital solution
Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, internal and external regulations, e.g. IT security, enterprise architecture or FOSS license specifications
Regular exchange and targeted coordination with stakeholders within and outside the Finance Solution team and across system boundaries
Control of all software development activities in the product team and in the context of internal and external employees, including international shared service organizations
Selection, commissioning and control of external suppliers for the realization of ITtechnical scopes, determination of a suitable sourcing strategy

Your Qualifications:

Completed studies with a focus on business administration, business informatics, computer science or comparable training
Comprehensive, several years of practical experience in the architecture and design of SAP BW data provisioning solutions and holistic data architectures
Several years of professional experience in the design of extensive and complex data products, the consistent and stable supply of data from a variety of source systems as well as the analysis and design of associated architectures
Practical experience in translating very complex technical requirements into innovative, sustainable and efficient digital solutions
Practical experience in designing and implementing effective data governance
Extensive knowledge of SAP BW/4 HANA, its technical architecture and the possibilities of building an integrated data architecture on it
Very good knowledge of data provisioning technologies and integration architectures in the SAP area as well as the corresponding technologies and data architectures in
