Summary:
Domin8, a dynamic and innovative athleisure brand, is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to lead our design team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, particularly in the athleisure segment, and will work closely with our team to develop new collections that resonate with our brand's vision.

This role is crucial for ensuring the continued success and growth of Domin8 in the competitive athleisure market.

Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the team to brainstorm and create ideas for athleisure wear collections.
Develop complete collection concepts for each season, including mood boards, color palettes, detailed design sketches, and tech packs.
Contribute to the creation of concept boards and design presentations to effectively communicate design ideas and directions.
Stay informed about current fashion trends, materials, and techniques relevant to athleisure wear, ensuring designs are contemporary and innovative.
Conduct research on competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

Collaborate with the fit technician and production team to review and analyse fit samples, providing detailed feedback to ensure optimal fit and comfort for athleisure wear products.

Participate in the review of development samples, assessing quality, construction, and design accuracy to ensure they meet Domin8's high standards.

Work closely with the design team to maintain a cohesive and innovative design approach across all collections.

Collaborate with other departments such as production and marketing to ensure design concepts align with the overall brand strategy and goals.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in fashion design, with a strong focus on athleisure or activewear.
Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design tools.
Strong understanding of fabric properties, garment construction, and production processes.
Excellent sketching and illustration skills, with the ability to create detailed technical drawings.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and ideas.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, innovative athleisure wear.
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
