- Develop and articulate cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies are effectively communicated, understood, and implemented across the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulatory changes to ensure policies remain current and effective.
- Lead the implementation and integration of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools, with a focus on ServiceNow.
- Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to ensure the seamless integration of cybersecurity policies and processes into daily operations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate cybersecurity audits and assessments.
- Monitor and report on key cybersecurity metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, ideally in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of industry frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, etc.
- Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts, with hands-on experience in implementing tools like ServiceNow.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
