Description
We are looking for a diligent and dedicated Steward to join our restaurant team. The Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential to ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.


Responsibilities:


Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations.
Regularly clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment.


Dishwashing:
Wash dishes, flatware, and cooking equipment using appropriate cleaning methods and ensuring proper sanitation.
Handle delicate items with care to prevent breakage.


Kitchen Support:
Assist the kitchen staff by cleaning and preparing ingredients as directed.
Empty trash and dispose of waste materials properly.


Supply Management:
Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes, utensils, and glassware are readily available for service.
Help with inventory control by monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies.


Assist in Food Service:
Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of dishes to tables.
Support the team in ensuring food presentation meets established standards.


Hygiene and Safety:
Follow proper hygiene practices and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.


Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and waitstaff to facilitate smooth operations.
Assist with other tasks as needed to maintain a well-functioning restaurant.


Qualifications:


  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary:
₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Koramangala, Bangalore India : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
