What We'll Bring:

In this role, you will:

Work closely with Data and Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, to update database storage, troubleshoot technical issues and create visual layouts to display data.

Create code libraries and instructional materials for other data professionals to update data systems.

Provide database architecture design guidance to the organization and data engineering teams, ensuring high-quality, secure, scalable systems - often spearheading new design approaches.

Regularly review and maintain security of all system data.

Define and promote database engineering best practices with all data teams.

Implement and utilize analytics to identify patterns and system concerns and design solutions for system health and performance improvement.

What You'll Bring:

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience designing Enterprise Data Platforms for performance, scale, and reporting
Advanced experience with SQL and SQL Server and PostgreSQL relational databases
Experience with couldbased database systems and design
Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with mínimal supervision
Ensures security of all data systems and digital data, including adherence to government regulations and guidelines for safeguarding of data.
Determines platform architecture, technology, and tools and recommends upgrades and systems for purchase
Experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical) for OLTP, Data Marts, Data Warehouse
Refine and automate regular SSIS and SSRS processes
As needed, perform operations including; monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup creation, optimization, etc.
Provide statistical analysis to develop, test, and optimize databases to their full potential
Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data
Communicates technology needs and strategy to fellow members of executive team
Updates job knowledge by reading professional publications, tracking emerging technologies, and continued learning

Impact You'll Make:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science and/ or at least 10 years of experience in the field.
Mastery of specific types of databases, such as relational or foundational databases
Excellent data management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong data modeling and database design experience
Database and software architecture and design experience
Experience with database management software
Experience working with private and sensitive personal information
Understanding of data analysis, business principles, and operations
Ability to gather and organize statistical information and present findings to management
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms
Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
Strong problemsolving experience
Ability to innovate, improvise, and find workarounds
