Job Details:
Shift pattern (Mixture of Early/Day/Late & Night) on a rotation


To accept instructions from Field Engineering Contracts, from clients, analyse and organise the dispatch of reactive faults, as detailed in the fault management systems, to enable technicians and Engineers to resolve faults and report.

To enhance performance by investigating and analysing client systems to detect faults prior to the client, reducing risk, ensuring correct resources utilised and to enable a longer timeframe to attend fault to completion.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively utilise Cubic systems for error detection and resolution.
  • Monitor and analyse faults to minimise risks and ensure quick resolutions.
  • Resolve client queries while enhancing asset management systems.
  • Communicate efficiently with field staff to coordinate fault management.
  • Analyse data to predict and prevent repeat failures, and present fault data to inform decisionmaking.
  • Update knowledge base systems and advise on necessary actions.
  • Report process or performance issues to management promptly.
  • Support operational processes and assist in performance improvement efforts.
  • Mitigate risks and enhance fault resolution through targeted solutions.
  • Assist in training staff and uphold ISO standards.

Skills knowledge and experience:

Essential:

  • Experience in dispatching reactive faults based on client instructions through fault management systems.
  • Proficient in updating fault management systems promptly upon receiving information from technicians.
  • Strong PC skills, including intermediate proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility for shift work to cover staff sickness and holidays at short notice.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability in analysis and decisionmaking.
  • Excellent levels of communication, in both verbal and written format (Typing efficiently)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of fault management systems
  • Selfstarter who has a genuine interest in customer service
