Our top-rated rooftop restaurant specializes in pure vegetarian, multi-cuisine dishes, with a primary focus on authentic Indian cuisine. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Steward to join our service team.

  • Greet and welcome guests, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their dining experience.
  • Take guest orders accurately, ensuring a clear understanding of their preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Communicate guest orders to the kitchen staff, and verify that dishes meet guest specifications and presentation standards before serving.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining exceptional service quality.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the vegetarian menu offerings, including authentic Indian dishes and other international cuisines, to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
  • Clear tables promptly and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Address guest concerns or issues professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow service staff, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Process guest orders and handle payment transactions using the restaurant's POS system.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitalityrelated training or education is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of vegetarian cuisine, particularly authentic Indian dishes, and familiarity with other international vegetarian cuisines.
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
