    Job Summary


    We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as an SAP BusinessObjects Data Services BODS Developer.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, ETL Extract, Transform, Load processes, and SAP BODS development.

    The primary responsibility of the BODS Developer will be to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions to support our organizations business intelligence and analytics initiatives.


    ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement data integration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services BODS to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target data warehouses, data marts, or operational databases.

    Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and data modelers to gather requirements, define data integration workflows, and design scalable and efficient ETL processes.

    Develop and optimize data transformation logic, including data cleansing, validation, enrichment, and aggregation, to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.

    Configure and customize SAP BODS components, such as data flows, datastores, transformations, and jobs, to meet business requirements and performance objectives.

    Integrate SAP BODS with other SAP and nonSAP systems, databases, and applications, including SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, and flat files.

    Perform data profiling, data mapping, and data lineage analysis to understand source data structures, identify data quality issues, and ensure compatibility with target data models.

    Develop and execute data migration plans, data conversion scripts, and data reconciliation procedures to support system upgrades, migrations, or implementations.

    Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, job failures, data errors, and performance bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions and optimizations as needed.

    Document technical specifications, data mappings, data lineage diagrams, and data integration workflows, and maintain uptodate documentation for future reference.

    Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in data integration technologies, including SAP BODS, SAP Data Services, and SAP Data Intelligence.
