Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Unit Chef to join our team.

The Unit Chef will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the designated unit, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

Plan and execute the daily menu in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.

Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special promotions to attract and retain customers.

Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.

Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Stay updated on current culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients to continually enhance menu offerings.


Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a chef in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or catering establishment.

Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen sanitation.

Creativity and innovation in menu development and presentation.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

From ₹100,000.00 per month
