Job Title:
AERB Regulatory Compliance Officer


Job Summary:


As an AERB Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements established by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board.

Your role will involve collaborating with various departments within nuclear facilities to assess, monitor, and implement measures to maintain regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety.


Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance Oversight:


  • Stay updated on AERB regulations, guidelines, and directives applicable to nuclear facilities and activities.
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain compliance strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with AERB regulations.

Inspection and Audit Preparation:


  • Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections, audits, and assessments conducted by AERB or other regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address identified compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of regulatory compliance activities, including reports, records, and documentation of corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings as required by AERB regulations.

Training and Awareness:


  • Develop and deliver training programs on AERB regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and safety awareness among employees through education and communication.

Risk Assessment and Management:


  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to identify opportunities for enhancing compliance practices.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline compliance processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, physics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Indepth knowledge of AERB regulations and nuclear safety principles.
  • Experience working in regulatory compliance within the nuclear industry.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:


  • Certification or licensure relevant to nuclear regulatory compliance preferred (e.g., Certified Health Physicist).

Salary:
₹10, ₹25,000.00 per month
