Roles and Responsibility


Propulsion Control system

Location :
Mumbai (Mahape - Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra)
VME and PLC Based Propulsion Control system (PCS) engineering and hardware
- engineering of IPMS


Key accountabilities:


  • Review compliance matrix from PCS and other hardware aspects of the technical
proposal and Participate in TNC and extend technical support in tendering of IPMS- Catering to Product Safety related to Propulsion System also carry out PCS and

other hardware and software engineering (FDS) of VME based and PLC based IPMS
- for Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard and other projects
  • Development of PCS software in PLC or VME Platform by Participating in Design
Reviews and obtaining timely approvals.- Extend support to UKOPS in global projects as required and also extend support in

technical documentation for Indian projects.- Coordinate with software team during IPMS project execution to guide Site team

during STW, Commissioning and Trials.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • BE or B.Tech in electronics/ electrical/ telecom/ instrumentation with 7 to 10
years of experience respectively.- Expertise in
Marine Propulsion Control System must have experience in PLC

programming Function block diagram (FBD).

  • Expertise in
    Rockwell, Wago, Schneider is desirable.
  • Hardware engineering and
    PCS engineering of VME and PLC based systems
Experience in the nuclear sector.- Knowledge and past experience of having worked with other sub-systems of
IPMS
viz
-
. BDCS, AFDS, AFAS, CCTV, RC valves etc

  • Knowledge of propulsion auxiliary systems
