Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
  • Support the reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Help maintain accurate and uptodate financial records by organizing and filing documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and assignments as needed to support the accounting department's objectives.
  • Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Learn and utilize accounting software and tools to perform daily tasks and generate financial reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Take initiative to learn and grow professionally by seeking feedback, asking questions, and actively participating in training opportunities.

Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required.
