**Job Responsibilities: - Perform Daily P&L production for Credit portfolio group desk including Risk and P&L analysis and commentaries

Responsible for the compilation of financial statements, footnotes, management's discussion and analysis and all other components of the filings.
Ensure internal control procures are in place and maintain SOX compliance. Driving change and improvement in process in order to improve transparency and efficiency in monthend results.
Ensure financial information is in compliance with US & local GAAP and firm's corporate accounting policies, documenting exceptions where appropriate.
Act as a resource to project management & the businesses for various projects / business initiatives.
Identify and drive targeted reviews for specific products/process based on both quantitative and qualitative factors and risks.
Also assist team to perform monthly close activities including but not limited to review of financial data, investigating significant variances and transactions, fluctuation analysis, preparation of financial reporting deliverable, preparation of estimate accruals, perform reconciliations, general ledger substantiation etc.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Qualified accountant preferably with 46 years' experience within the Financial Services industry with controller experience.
Excellent communication skills and executive presence including the ability to present complex and sensitive matters to Senior management, Product Managers & Business Managers across levels.
Analytical mindset, structure approach, attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal, communication and teambuilding skills
Ability to manage several projects and reporting requirements concurrently
Ability to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls. Ability to work in a matrix organization with limited local oversight ensuring timely escalation & resolution of issues
Proven skills in identifying and resolving control issues that may impact financial results
Team player and ability to work closely with global team members and other groups in the organization.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Good knowledge of Lending and Trade Finance products & SAP ledger system is preferred
