Description

As an Associate, Fellowship Selection (Communications and Operations), you will contribute to the vision and strategy of the Fellowship Selection Team as well as ensure efficient and accurate implementation of our selection model during the Selection cycle.

You will be responsible for ensuring that each Reviewer and Selectors at a given stage of the selection process has an experience, which is informative, inspiring, and aspirational such that they are brand ambassadors for Teach For India and also the Selection Team.

To do this, you will play a critical role in designing inspirational and informative content for all Reviewer/Selector-centric materials that effectively communicate the core messages of the movement and source for inspirational spaces to conduct Assessment Centers.

You will also work on critical operations for the Reviewer and Selector program such as sourcing these Reviewers and Selectors, providing them ongoing support and resources they need to implement the selection model and processes.

You will also be managing a team of 30-40 Staff, Fellows, and Alumni who support us in our work part-time.

You will be responsible for training and supporting this team as well as for monitoring their output to ensure they are able to do their work accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with the training vertical to create inspiring content to inform, invest and inspire Reviewers and Selectors to implement the Selection model

Building relationships with and facilitating ongoing training to manage Staff, Fellows and Alumni involved in the selection process to ensure efficient and accurate implementation of our model.

Managing
complex projects with many moving parts and stakeholders. All this, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a tight timeframe - this might range from sourcing Reviewers and Selectors to running all the operations and systems required while also looking at continuously improving the effectiveness of these systems.

Monitoring and tracking progress to goals
through data analysis, which allows you to design and implement strategic solutions to in-the-moment challenges as well as increase long-term process efficiency.


Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations:

Belief that every child deserves an excellent education and that every single child has the ability to be successful academically whatever their background.

  • Exceptional
    English language communication skills both written and verbal.

An eye for aesthetics and being resourceful, which will enable you not only to find creative solutions to design inspiring content but also enable you to do this efficiently by reaching out to the right people in the ecosystem

  • Experience working with designing inspiring content using technology (such as Canva, Google sites, Adobe Spark, etc.)
  • Highly
    organized with the ability to set clear plans and adapt them when required to ensure you meet ambitious project goals within clear timeframes.
  • Graduate (any field) with 23 years of work experience
