Babita Sharma

Ms. Babita Sharma( M.Sc Chmistry , M.Sc Maths, B.Ed, PGDSLM) is an Educator in the Department of Chemistry since 19years.She is currently working as an Academic Coordinator and HOD Chemistry at GBN Sr. Sec. School ,21D Faridabad. She obtained her Postgraduate degree in Mathematics from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla and Postgraduate degree in Chemistry from Madhya Pradesh University Bhopal. She completed her Bachelor of Education from Jammu University.Further more, she did her Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management from IGNOU.

As a Research Scholar, she has  worked at IHBT(CSIR) on Isolation and Characterization of Novel Compounds in Natural Plant Product Department. Being a dynamic visionary leader and solid team player with a proven track record in collaborating with the school community, increasing student academics, and maintaining excellence in education, she worked as an HOD Chemistry in Adarsh public School Noida and from 2010-12 and  from 2013-18 in Apeejay School Faridabad. She being a highly skilled and overtly student-focused educational leader possessing a strong commitment to the development of students worked as Olympiad Incharge in her organisation. Having keenly associated with education and research related areas, she has got her 5 Research and Education related papers  published in National and International journals along with ISBN books. She has also been an eminent part of the numerous national and international seminars in presenting her research works. She was conferred with the honour of being part of International conference on Advancements in Interdisciplinary Research  (ICAIR) which was held from 26th -28th October 2021.  Her research work on Development of rapid RP-HPLC method and optimization of extraction technique for the bioactive constituents in leaf, pulp, bark, flower, and fruit of Crataegus oxyacanthal was published in the proceeding of the esteemed conference. Her awe inspiring work on ‘Multidisciplinary Approach in Education’ was published in the proceedings of esteemed conference and book on  ‘Applied Research Development in Physical and Chemical Sciences Engineering’ in the second National Conference on Innovations and best practices In Education held by NIT Jalandhar from 17th-18th December 2021. Being an agile and active Educator, she has attended various subject specific capacity building programmes/workshops organised by CBSE ,IIT Bombay & IIT Gandhinagar.
