Sr.Engineer, R & D Design & Vehicle Integration

  • Design and drafting of Chassis frame for mounting of concrete mixer on to truck chassis.
  • Integration of unique mixers on to new truck models as per customer requirement.
  • Calculation of axle load distribution as per the cubic capacity of mixer to integrate on to truck chassis.
  • Design of mounting arrangements and hydraulic pipe routings as per feasibility.
  • Support for production build of new concrete mixers and integration onto new trucks.
  • DMU management and BoM release of new and modified parts into system.
  • New concept study and implementation of proposals into system
  • Design and drafting of Chassis structures and frame mounted Components.
  • Design of steer-by-wire steering system mounting as per vehicle feasibility.
  • Design of axle and brake mounting as per vehicle feasibility.
  • Drafting of all the frame structures and mountings by applying GD&T and stack up tolerance.
  • Preparation of assembly drawings as per tolerances.
  • Entire vehicle feasibility study as per marketing requirements.
  • Support for proto conversions and assembly line build issues. 
  • DMU management and release check for design release.
  • Vehicle level packaging of individual aggregates as per the tolerances required. 
  • Project management to meet R+D key deliverables.
