Counseling psychology Intern (On-site, Sep - Oct 2023)

Gained experience in counseling (collecting client details, presenting problems, background information, MSE etc.) Exposure to dealing with marital problems, teenage problems, family problems, and learning disabilities.

Clinical Psychology Intern (On-site, Feb - May 2023)

Shadithya Hospital for Psychiatric treatment, Pallavaram, Tamil Nadu, India.

Worked as a clinical psychology intern, where I observed and shadowed psychologists, mental health professionals, and social workers. Observed people with different kinds of psychiatric problems, attended ward rounds and care plan reviews. Accompanied clinical psychologists for diagnostic assessments like IQ and personality. Attended counselling and therapy sessions given to patients and their families. Learned to take basic history and MSE.Worked as a clinical psychology intern where I observed and shadowed psychologists, mental health professionals and social workers.
