Poulami Bayen

My name is Dr. Poulami Bayen, and I hold MPH (Master of Public Health) degree, along with BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) qualification. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in health sciences, epidemiology, and research methodologies, allowing me to approach public health challenges with a well-rounded perspective.

I gained hands-on experience in various public health activities. In my first semester my term paper on “Girls Education and Health” was prised by faculties and evaluators.  I was actively involved in conducting a situational analysis of the Purulia District, analysing secondary data on malaria, and participating in epidemiological surveys. Additionally, I contributed to the investigation of diarrheal outbreaks, which enhanced my skills in outbreak management and data analysis. My dissertation research work focused on "Knowledge and Stated Practice Towards Anaemia Among Mid-Adolescent Government School-Going Students of a Municipal Area, Nadia District, West Bengal: A Cross-Sectional Study."

My term paper on “Girls Education and Health”.. I possess strong statistical analytical skills, including STRATA, SPSS, and Epi Info. Additionally, I am proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. I have gained work experience in the ICMR project 'COVID DEATH MORBIDITY' for a short period, and I also have experience in clinical data entry using ODK. Furthermore, I have attended several GCP workshops to enhance my knowledge and skills.
