About Prathamesh Patil:

I am a Process Engineer from India with 5.5 years of experience in Chemical Process Engineering, primarily in Oil and Gas EPC projects. I am currently working at Bechtel India Pvt. Ltd., based in Delhi-NCR, India.

I have been involved in both FEED and detailed engineering phases of large-scale oil and gas projects. My expertise includes developing PFDs, P&IDs and Hydraulic calculations, performing process simulations using Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Flare Net.

Education

During my M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, I studied Process Control and Pump Hydraulics. Through Process Control, I gained knowledge of process dynamics, control system design, stability analysis, and controller tuning to achieve safe and efficient plant operation. In Pump Hydraulics, I learned about pump types, performance characteristics, system curves, head losses, and the selection and operation of pumps in chemical process systems.
