    Principal Product Engineer


    The Opportunity :


    Our client has established themselves as a strong wealth-tech player in India and are slowly beginning to do so in other geographies as well.

    They are looking for people who can make it happen.

    So, this is your opportunity to develop or manage the capital strategy for development and implementation for the assigned plant(s) including product or package or delivery.


    Desired Candidate Profile :

    • Must have godlevel expertise in , JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds.
    • Excellence in at least one based framework like loopback, , or any other.
    • Ability to debug external npm packages and make changes in them if required.
    • Exposure in at least one javascript frontend framework like Angular.
    • Previous experience in architecting webapps. Must be able to solve typical scale related problems.
    • Diligence for coding standards
    • Must be godlike with git and git workflow
    • Thorough knowledge of AWS, GCC, or Azure. Expertise with linux based systems is expected.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like jenkins is a plus.
    • Extensive understanding of RDBMS systems
    • Experience with ElasticSearch is a plus.
    • Must have 5+ years of experience in handson software development.
    • Must have directly mentored, groomed and managed a team 5 or more junior developers
    • Strong plus if you have previous experience in wealth management or capital markets

    Interpersonal :

    • Must be a good problem solver and have an analytical mindset
    • Must have a passion for closing undertaken tasks
    • Must have the ability work in fast paced, high pressure environment
    • Should be able to manage his / her time across multiple things. Must be extremely good with rapid context switching.

    • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • Lead the team by setting extremely high standards of coding and diligence.
    • Guide the team to achieve it. If you haven't done this before, this opportunity isn't for you.
    • Collaborate with CEO/product owners on product front and other technology leaders on tech front.
    • Collaborate with other stakeholders for software development.
    • Build and mentor a team of high performing individuals.

    • Collaborates with Project Manager, Head of Delivery, clientside counterparts.
