Jhpiego is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Coordinator based in New Delhi for its USAID-funded RISE project.

The Data Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless collection, management, and utilization of project-related data within the Health Security and AMR program.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to data-driven decision-making and impact assessment. The position will report to the Lead - NCDC Coordination/Data Analyst.


Responsibilities:

As a part of the larger Monitoring Evaluation and Research team, the Data Co-ordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate timely collection, collation, compilation, and dissemination of data about assigned projects.
  • Verify the accuracy of the data by performing periodic data quality checks; prepare and submit reports on data quality.
  • Support project and regional offices in data management.
  • Take ownership of the existing MIS operation at the state and regional level.
  • Coordinate with the program implementation team to maintain cleaned programgenerated data
  • Assist in data collection and conduct field visits for followup assessments as needed.
  • Review data for completeness, and correct inconsistencies wherever applicable through routine followups.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Support state and regional teams in analyzing data, developing dashboards, and generating relevant graphs and information.
  • Develop relevant dashboards using data visualization tools.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications:

Abilities/Skills:


  • Ability to handle implementation data in project management settings.
  • Ability to produce documents and reports of professional quality and coordinate activities independently.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Computer skills demonstrating competency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a multicultural team.
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with other team members, agencies, stakeholders, and other organizations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in diverse teams, including remote teams through virtual means.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum Graduation with 2 years of experience in datarelated work
  • Fresher Post-Graduates in Management, Public Health, Computer Science, and Statistics are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated ability to handle data related to health.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders
