Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Control:


  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and control measures to ensure product integrity and quality.
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

Inspection and Testing:


  • Oversee the inspection of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet required quality standards.
  • Supervise the routine analysis of metals, including mechanical and chemical testing.
  • Ensure that all testing procedures follow established standards and specifications.

Documentation:


  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality tests, inspections, and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports on quality control activities, findings, and improvements.

Compliance and Standards:


  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards (such as ISO, ASTM) relevant to steel manufacturing.
  • Stay updated with industry standards, trends, and best practices in quality control.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and cost reduction.
  • Implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.

Team Management and Training:


  • Supervise and train QC staff in quality control procedures and standards.
  • Promote a culture of high quality and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in the steel metal manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of steel properties, metallurgical processes, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and certifications applicable to steel manufacturing.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality control software and statistical analysis tools.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
