    We are looking for a talented Junior Industrial Designer to join our team to help design, develop and help bring new product innovations to the market.


    Position Summary:


    As an Industrial Designer at Shunya, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a transformative brand, working on products that touch the lives of people seeking spiritual wellness and personal growth.


    You will work closely with the founders, strategists, and wellness experts to support the design and development of innovative, aesthetically pleasing products that resonate with our brand's identity.

    This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to the creative process of industrial design within the context of a unique and thriving industry.


    NOTE :
    THIS IS NOT A UI/UX DESIGN ROLE. ALL YOUR EFFORTS WILL BE TOWARDS DEVELOPING A PHYSICAL PRODUCT.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Product Design:

    To develop product concepts that align with our brand's vision and values, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and user experience.


    Prototyping:
    Participate in the creation of physical and digital prototypes to test and refine design concepts.

    Research and Inspiration:

    Stay up-to-date with design trends, spiritual wellness practices, and holistic living lifestyles to bring fresh ideas to the team.

    3D Modeling and Rendering: Utilize design software to create 3D models and realistic renderings to present design concepts effectively.

    Material and Manufacturing Research:
    Investigate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes that align with our sustainability and quality standards.

    Collaboration:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.

    Feedback Integration:
    Take part in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve and iterate on design concepts.

    AI Implementation :
    We leverage AI tools as much as we can. You will be expected to be familiar with relevant AI tools like chatgpt, midjourney, runway, daali, etc. A self initiated passion for the same is appreciated.


    Qualifications:
    Pursuing or have a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
    A strong passion for deigning tangible products for spirituality, wellness, and holistic living.
    Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite).
    Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    A keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
    Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of industrial design.
