Description
1.

Inspects electrical wiring, fixtures, appliances, power circuits and ascertains the nature of needed repairs and/or replacement; does whatever repair and installation work is necessary.

2.

Maintains, inspects, repairs, and services light feeders, generating and control equipment, relays, transformers, motors, pumps, switches, outlets and other electrical wiring, cables, fixtures and appliances of varied types.

3.

Makes emergency electrical repairs, trouble shoots malfunctions and break do client; inspects work in progress and completed work for defects, fire hazards or other unsafe conditions.

4. Works from electrical schematics, plans, and specifications in accordance with established procedures. 5. Requisitions, stores, safeguards, and properly uses electrical equipment, materials, and supplies. 6. Inspects, operates & maintains HVAC equipment, related machinery like pumps, compressors, AHU. 7. Carries out preventive maintenance as per schedules. 8. Lubricates and maintains in good working order HVAC equipment and replaces worn parts. Cleans air filters, water strainers, replaces pump glands, charges gas as required in the system etc. 9. Is familiar with the use and nomenclature of various types of air conditioning & refrigeration systems & other equipment. 10. Maintains day-to-day operations and maintenance records, inventories, etc. A)

Electrical Distribution Panels (LDB, PDB, HT Panels, UDB etc.):
Carry out daily operations (switch on / off) as required. Replacing of fused bulbs, sockets, switches etc. Maintain all the necessary logbooks, registers & records for any future checks & audits.

Regular checking, cleaning & general servicing once in a month for all the HT, LT panels All canteen equipments including Bain-Mari, Dishwasher Machines, etc.

B)

Inverters:

  • Operations as required.
  • Day to day operating and testing of Inverters.
  • Co ordinate with the vendors /AMC vendors for any break down & preventive maintenance's.
  • Once in 6 months full testing of the Inverter for ascertaining it's capacity.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Reports and MIS. C)
Public Address System, Audio Visual Equipment, CCTV monitor room, Access control system:

  • Checking the system for operation once in a month.
  • Co ordinate with the vendors / AMC vendors for any break down.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Reports and MIS. D)
Fire Alarm system, Fire sprinkler system, Fire hydrant systems, Fire panels and Fire Extinguishers:

  • Checking the system for operation once in a month.
  • Co ordinate with the vendors / AMC vendors for any break down & preventive maintenance's
  • Check the healthy ness of jockey motors.
  • Fire engine general checking like battery conditions, specific gravity etc.
  • To conduct fire drills as per the companies guidelines.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Reports and MIS. E)

UPS system with battery banks:

  • Record the readings & maintain log book as necessary
  • Checking the system for operation once in a month.
  • Co-ordinate with the vendors/ AMC vendors for any break down & preventive maintenance's.
  • Once in 6 months full testing of the UPS for ascertaining it's capacity.
  • To check battery back up system.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Reports and MIS. F)

Luminaries, Fittings and Fixtures:

  • Check for healthy ness on a regular basis.
  • Check & replace any fused bulbs & tubes.
  • Rectify any wiring problems.
  • Keep account of the incoming materials & maintain register for replaced.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance.
G)

Energy Meters:

  • Note down the energy meter reading as per scheduled time & monitor the power consumption.
  • Submit daily report / log books on power consumption & MIS.
  • Conduct energy audit twice in a year by authorized agencies to recommend corrective actions for betterment and optimization.
  • To coordinate with the local MSDCL people in case of power failure & any other incidences.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance.
In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by the Immediate Supervisor or the Management.

Pay:
₹14, ₹14,800.00 per month

Experience:


  • IT/ITES Building: 1 year (required)
  • Commercial electrician: 3 years (required)
