Restaurant Captain

₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per month

Responsibilities:


Customer Service:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Ensure that guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service throughout their dining experience.

Order Management:
Take and accurately record food and beverage orders from guests. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of items.

Table Management:
Manage table assignments and seating arrangements to optimize capacity and flow. Coordinate with the host/hostess and floor staff to ensure efficient seating and turnover of tables.

Team Leadership:
Supervise and support the restaurant staff, including servers, bussers, and runners. Provide training, guidance, and feedback to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.

Problem Resolution:
Address any issues or concerns raised by guests promptly and effectively. Resolve complaints, handle special requests, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Upselling:
Promote menu items, specials, and promotions to guests. Encourage upselling and cross-selling to enhance the dining experience and increase revenue.

Quality Control:
Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages served to guests. Ensure that all items meet established standards of taste, appearance, and freshness.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and service procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
