Role :
Sr. Executive Purchase


Purpose:


The primary responsibility is the sourcing and procurement of project equipment, furniture, interior or civil materials, and service providers, including MEP, HVAC, fire safety, and networking materials, according to BBQN standards and specifications.

This should be achieved within the allocated financial budgets and timelines through the establishment of new vendors, service providers, negotiations, and processing work orders and purchase orders, as well as managing deliveries, installations, and payment follow-ups.


Conditions of Work:

Location: Head Office, BBQN, Bangalore.


Communication:

-
Internal: Engages with Project Coordinator, Head of Projects and Maintenance, Accounts Department, Regional Project Managers, and Marketing Managers to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective procurement for BBQN/TOSCANO Expansion and new projects.

External: Collaborates with external agency representatives to support project procurement delivery efficiently and effectively, maintaining relationships with product manufacturers or service providers to incorporate new technologies or cost-efficient systems or methods.


Main Duties:


  • Source and procure materials or service providers for new BBQN projects.
  • Conduct negotiations, comparative analysis, rate contracts, and process work and purchase orders.
  • Manage purchase orders within an ERP system.
  • Track payments and deliveries as per project requirements and maintain a purchase matrix.
  • Oversee Capital and Projects Procurement.
  • Manage vendor inquiries for production and pricing needs.
  • Ensure production schedules are met by timely purchase order releases.
  • Execute contract management and purchase instructions.
  • Coordinate overall project procurement, including development, quantification, ordering, monitoring, and coordination.
  • Facilitate coordination between pre and postcontract project teams and external consultants.
  • Maintain communication with senior management for updates.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Additional Tasks:


  • Budget/Estimation preparation for each new site.
  • Standardized reporting on project work orders and purchase orders.

Role Specifications:


Qualifications:

Essential: Graduation / Post Graduation or Diploma in Material Management.


Experience:

-
Desirable: Experience with Construction/F&B/hotel Equipment purchasing.

Essential: Proficiency with ERP Software and experience in dealing with external agencies.


Skills:


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with persuasive abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and effective presentation development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of suppliers, procurement budget impact, and value maximization in spending.
  • Ability to work with details for efficient procurement management.

Technical Project and Maintenance Management Competencies:

  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, local/state taxes, duties, transportation costs, etc.
  • Ability to develop project cost estimates, track, analyze, and interpret variances.

Salary:
₹30, ₹38,000.00 per month
