    Description

    Job Summary :

    • We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS, along with excellent analytical skills.
    • The role involves working on development and maintenance projects, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
    • Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
    • Additionally, familiarity with SDLC processes and understanding of Agile methodologies is required.
    • Knowledge of the Corporate banking domain will be Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS.
    • Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions to meet the project objectives.
    • Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver highquality solutions.
    • Write and maintain technical documentation including program specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
    • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and best practices.
    • Perform unit testing and support system integration testing to validate functionality and identify defects.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on project timelines.
    • Work closely with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
    • Follow SDLC processes and methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
    • Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and management to provide status updates and escalate issues as needed.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in mainframe development using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
    • Flexibility to work on both development and maintenance projects, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Sound knowledge of SDLC processes and understanding of Agile methodologies.
    • Familiarity with version control systems and change management processes.
    • Experience in the Corporate banking domain is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and selfmotivated attitude.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality solutions.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fastpaced environment.
