    Job Description :
    We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Application Developer to join our team.


    The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in Mainframe application development, particularly with CA Gen modeling, COBOL development, CICS development, and database design.


    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Mainframe applications to meet the business requirements.


    Responsibilities :

    • Utilize CA Gen modeling tools to design and develop Mainframe applications according to business requirements.
    • Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL programs for Mainframe applications.
    • Design and implement CICS modules for online transaction processing.
    • Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize Mainframe databases.
    • Support both online and batch operations, ensuring smooth functioning of Mainframe applications.
    • Utilize Endevor for version control and code management.
    • Work closely with crossfunctional teams in an Agile environment to deliver highquality software solutions.
    • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews as part of Agile development practices.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of handson experience in Mainframe application development.
    • Proficiency in CA Gen modeling tools for application development.
    • Strong expertise in COBOL programming language.
    • Experience in developing and debugging CICS modules.
    • Solid understanding of database design principles and experience with Mainframe databases.
    • Experience with Endevor or similar version control tools.
    • Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
