The position is there to provide KYC documentation to Business and Operations Unit to process current account opening as well as support in post-opening activities.


Key Accountabilities (List the expected end results or KPIs that the job holder is expected to achieve for this job. Do not list more than 5)

  • Fulfil all responsibilities in relation to:
  • Preparation of KYC docs
  • Preluminary Checking up of filled documents
  • Initiating and follow up with Legal and FCSS for exceptions
  • Perform miscellaneous activities related to account opening
  • To liaise with RMs and customers for various documents/exception tracking.
To process and input data for account opening


Job Duties & responsibilities (List the principal duties. Use concise statements that provide a clear understanding of the level of responsibility, complexity, creativity and analysis performed in this position.)

  • Prepare documents for IBG 4 customers in accordance to approved KYC guidelines of the Bank and regulators based on the Master KYC policy which standard clauses have been determined by Group Legal and Product Owners.
  • Review the documents submitted
  • Prepare and update template for inhouse systems in accordance with approved guidelines and liaise with COO/ops team for completing the process
  • To support Sales team to ensure there is negligible dependency on sales team for completion of docs
  • Provide valuable feedback to business heads on the quality of submission
  • Liaising with internal sales team/stakeholders to complete timely completion
  • Follow up with RM/Customer on closure of various exception items/deviations etc.
  • Follow up with ops on timely closure of exceptions upon submission
  • Assist RM to followup with customers
  • Timely preparing the relevant dashboard for tracking productivity

Required Experience

  • Preferable experience of 5 years in similar role of back office operations/documentation with other bank/NBFC

Education / Preferred Qualifications
The job holder needs to be at least graduate in the Commerce stream. Preferred a post graduate. Basic knowledge of MS Office and basic understanding of KYC.

  • The job holder needs to have the Basic knowledge of MS Office and various systems used by credit services.
